Government Programs on EPP
Many government agencies at all levels have implemented environmentally preferable procurement (EPP) programs that among other goals, institute the procurement of recycled paper. In addition to these EPP programs, some government agencies have begun to implement "green" building policies which work to conserve natural resources. Both of these efforts have the potential to greatly reduce government agencies' consumption of wood.
